Brockhills of Yorkshire and P.V. Dobson are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership, extending their Fendt dealership into north Cumbria and enhancing existing support for customers across Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and the North East.
To retain the heritage, reputation, and strength of both respected, family-owned businesses, Brockhills of Yorkshire will trade as P. V. Brockhills from the beginning of 2026, with their Dalton depot acting as head office.
In addition to the Dalton depot, P.V. Brockhills will operate dedicated Fendt service centres from P.V. Dobson’s existing sites in Levens and Skipton, with an additional centre established at P.V. Dobson’s Washington depot. Expert Fendt specialists will provide dedicated sales and service support within their respective areas, operating independently from P.V. Dobson’s existing service hubs, which will continue to support their existing franchises.
Peter Swales will remain as Managing Director, with Andrew Dobson joining as a Director. Both are equal shareholders in the venture and firmly believe the family values of both businesses will be stronger together. The arrangement allows Andrew Dobson to focus on the Massey Ferguson, Kubota, Manitou, Bomag and Thwaites franchises held by P. V. Dobson, while remaining actively involved with the Fendt brand he is so passionate about.
With a combined 69 years’ experience as Fendt dealers this exciting new partnership will focus on supplying the full range of Fendt products and increasing tractor market share in all horsepower sectors.
Fendt, a German manufacturer established in 1930, has become a global leader in agricultural equipment. Fendt’s product line has expanded over recent years and now includes tracked as well as wheeled tractors, combines, self-propelled forage harvesters, sprayers, large square and round balers, as well as a range of grassland equipment including mowers, tedders, and rakes.
This new partnership brings together the combined expertise of Brockhills and P.V. Dobson, ensuring that customers investing in any Fendt product will receive a premium level of support.
